RAISE THE VIBRATION: HARTFORD – A V-Day 2021 Event Curated & Directed by Jasmin Agosto For V-Day 2021, V (formerly Eve Ensler) has tasked communities across the world to center local voices and further illuminate stories of the African diaspora, indigenous, trans, queer, immigrant and refugee stories through the arts, creating a new production called RAISE THE VIBRATION. Sageseeker Production’s Executive Producer Jasmin Agosto has created a virtual showcase that amplifies local stories of gender violence and resilience through ritual, storytelling, poetry, music and choreography. Centering Black, Latinx, queer, and intergenerational artists based in Hartford, we have created an entirely new work that is honest, vulnerable, and artistically urgent. Join us in a virtual space for this unique and important evening of healing through the shared witnessing of truth-telling. Registrants will receive a video link the day of the event! ...
