Computer Center

LEARNING COMMONS

The computers in the Learning Commons (located within the Jeremy Richard Library) are for the use of all registered UConn students, faculty and staff in support of class work.  You will need to login with your NetID.  All printing is done with the University One Card (i.e. UConn ID).  Printing charges are automatically deducted at .10 cents per sheet for B&W, and .35 cents per sheet for color.  Students can add money to their UConn ID online at http://onecard.uconn.edu.

COMPUTER LABS FOR TEACHING

There are 3 teaching labs available for classes:

  • 3.05A for up to 18 students
  • 3.05F for up to 20 students
  • 3.05G for up to 35 students

Room assignments in the teaching labs are made by the registrar if the usage is for the whole semester.

Additional software can be installed for class use within lawful licensing agreements if the software is provided by the department or instructor and sufficient time is allowed for installation by the Stamford Technology Services department. Contact: 203-251-9599. Printing is included with class use of the teaching labs.
