Co-editor with K. Haller, D. Caldi, M. Islam, R. Mallett, and P. Mannheim of “The Proceedings of the Storrs Meeting,” (World Scientific, Singapore, 1989).

Current Research:

Dr. Swanson's current research is focused on understanding the relationship between path integrals and canonical formulations of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. In particular, the role of classical solutions to the equations of motion in determining approximate quantum mechanical properties is clearest in the path integral representation of transition amplitudes.
