Background:
Gary Storhoff has widely published on American
literature, African-American literature, and Ethnic
literature of the United States. He is the author
of Understanding Charles Johnson (2004),
and is co-editor of the forthcoming The Emergence
of Buddhist American Literature, SUNY Press,
2007. He is currently engaged in two long-term
research projects: one on William Faulkner and
women ethnic writers, the other on Buddhism and
American culture.
