She also developed and taught the first online graduate business course for the University, as well as an online undergraduate course. Both of these courses have been highly acclaimed by students and are always oversubscribed. The School of Business has honored Professor Pancak for her dedication to her students, by naming her the recipient of the the 2004 and 1998 School of Business Undergraduate Teaching Awards and the 2001 School of Business Innovation in Teaching Award.

In addition to teaching, Professor Pancak conducts research on real estate law topics and has been published in a variety of real estate journals and law reviews, including the Journal of Real Estate Research, the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, the Real Estate Law Journal, and the Boston College Environmental Law Review. She is the author of Connecticut Real Estate: Law and Practice, Consulting Editor of Real Estate Fundamentals, and former President of the Connecticut Real Estate Educators Association.

Professor Pancak has a distinguished record of service to both the University and Connecticut real estate professional community. She is currently the Stamford Campus Business School Undergraduate Liaison, and a member of the the Stamford Campus Coordinating Council. She has conducted over 30 semi-annual Real Estate Instructors Seminars for Connecticut real estate prelicensing and continuing education instructors, “teaching the teachers” about real estate trends, regulatory changes, and creative pedagogy. She has developed numerous instructional materials for real estate educators, including a two real estate courses that won the National Award for Best Continuing Education Program by the Association of Real Estate Licensing Law Officials. A trusted advisor to the Connecticut Real Estate Commission, Professor Pancak has developed extensive material for the state Commission, including legal interpretations of and policies on licensing law issues, as well as annual handbooks on the state licensing law. Professor Pancak was awarded the 2003 School of Business Service/Outreach Award and the 1997 Finance Department Outstanding Service Award.
