Professor Watnick received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. He received the student selected Stamford Campus Teacher of the Year Award in 1995, 1999, and 2013 and his colleagues selected him for the Faculty Recognition Award for the Stamford Campus in 2009. Dr. Watnick has several publications in his field and has presented at academic conferences including a Calculus Reform Conference at Harvard and the American Mathematical Society Summer Institute in Recursion Theory at Cornell. He is a Stamford Campus Advisor for the University’s Honors Program and a member of the UCONN Honors Board of Associate Directors.
