To mark National Poetry Month, the English Department invited faculty, staff, students and alumni to celebrate writers and creative work of all kinds of media!
English graduates from December, May, and August were recognized and there was an open mic for all to share brief excerpts of their work.
Jobs in the digital media industry are in high demand – especially in the state of Connecticut. Employers around the state are constantly looking for up and coming talent with the skills to solve the problems of today’s digital landscape. We’re helping to close the gap by connecting students to the training they’ll need for the job opportunities of the future.
Digital Media CT (DMCT) is a summer training program, developed in partnership by the Connecticut Office of Film, Television & Digital Media and the University of Connecticut Digital Media & Design Department. It has been designed for individuals who want to develop the basic skills necessary to seek work in the industry or enhance their current skill set and advance their careers
